What Causes Swollen Legs While Having Thyroid Disorder And Elevated Liver Enzymes?

My legs swell constantly, especially lower legs, I loose more than normal hair, I have thyroid issues, I can t loose weight, and recent tests show I have high liver enzymes. What can I do to loose weight and reduce swelling of my legs? My leg muscles are so tight, I can t bent my legs. I do take thyroid tablets, as well as for high blood pressure and high colestrol. I had a prolonged stress event for 3 years with my husband going through severe depression

I'm thinking that the reasons for your problem are
1.liver failure
2.hypothyroidism
3.renal dysfunction

I can suggest you to get done
1.LFT to repeat to see the progress of the values
2.hemogram
3.TSH
4.ECG
5.RFT
6.USG abdomen to check for liver status and ascitis
7.serum electrolytes

mean while you can take
1.salt restricted diet 2 gms per day
2.oral fluids to1.5 lit per day
3.tab aldactone 50 mg once a day
4.daily weight check

depending upon the reports we have to proceed further.
