What Causes Swollen Knee Inspite Of Taking Synvisc Post Knee Replacement?
I have a history of osteoarthritis in my left knee.The right knee has been replaced.I have been periodically receiving Synvisc injections and while effective the injection initially causes significant swelling for a couple of days and then I am fine. Is there a more effective solution?

I really appreciate your concern, here in your case steroid can be tired but that it need basic information of your age and gender, because it need to be taken in tapper manner, and the best drug would be "Tab Prednisone 10 mg" three times in day and dose need to be reduced every after third day, till the last of 5 mg once in day comes, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
