General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

It could be of great help if you could send a picture of the affected leg and ankle to me for further evaluation. Yes, you should take him to MD as soon as possible. We should rule out possible blood clot in his legs. Erysipelas should be considered too. You should send him to MD as soon as possible.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
