Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your query swelling in throat can be due infection that can be bacterial or viral in nature while the swelling and bumps over tongue seems to be due to apthous stomatitis that can occur secondary to infection..

You should take a course of antibiotics like Azithromycin or Levofloxacin, take anti-inflammatory painkiller like Ibuprofen, do warm saline gargles, gargle with a numbing mouthwash containing Lignocaine..
Do steam inhalations and use a cool mist humidifier in your room.
Take multivitamin supplements and a soft bland diet..
For mouth ulcers gargles with 1:1 solution of benadryl and milk of magnesia will help..
Avoid spicy and hard foods..
Drink plenty of water and maintain a good oral hygiene..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
