What Causes Swelling On The Wrist After Being Diagnosed With Neuroendocrine Cancer?

I found what looked like a bruise on my left, inside forearm about an inch up from my wrist. When I touched it is swollen quite round (almost fluid filled). What is this and should I see a doctor. I do have Neuro Endocrine Cancer - mid gut (resection 9 years ago) and mets to my liver ( inoperable).

Hello and welcome to HCM,
A neuro-endocrine tumor of the gut may be un-associated with the swelling an inch above the wrist.
A fluid filled swelling above the wrist could be a cystic swelling.
The cystic swelling above the wrist could be in vicinity of tendons and may be caused by inflammation of the tendons.
Bursa is a fluid filled lesion often found near the joints. They are formed due to inflammation and friction around the joint.
I suggest you to consult an orthopedician for clinical assessment and thus management.

Thanks and take care
