What Causes Swelling On The Arm After An Injury?

hello, i am at work, I bent down and when i stood up i hit the back of my arm really hard on my cash drawer. it is not bruised and a little swelling and has a small amount of blood. is this normal for a rather hard it and will it resolve or should i be worried
