What Causes Swelling On Face After Treatment For Cold?

I have had a upper respiratory cold for 6 wks. took antibiotics and got better one month ago. Now sinus are swollen face swollen and nose burns. tried the netty pot. tried advil cold and sinus made nose burn worse. no drainage if any clear. Just pressure burning and swollen face.

The swelling in the face can be because of the sinus infection. Nothing too be panic, Consult an ENT surgeon and get it evaluated. Mean while you can take a course of antibiotics like amoxicillin and clavulnic acid combination(if you are not allergic). Take steam inhalation. The other possible cause for swelling in the face can be infection in the teeth. So you need to consult an oral physician and get your oral cavity examined.
