What Causes Swelling Of Tonsil And Sneezing?

I have my left tonsillitis swollen. I have my left side running nose. I am sneezing at times. There is no pain. My throat is little sore. Is it strep throat? It is throat cancer? Do I have HIV? I am 35years in age with 80Kgs in weight (almost constant for last one year)

Hello,

I can not exclude possible strep infection based on your description. It could be a viral infection too.

But, I would definitely exclude HIV, as your symptoms are not typical of this disorder.

Coming to this point, I would recommend consulting with your doctor for a physical exam and a throat discharge bacterial culture for strep infection.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Ilir Sharka
