The bottom of my left foot, about where my instep is, is swollen for no reason. It feel as though I m walking on a somewhat soft apricot, but it doesn t hurt. I did have a bad fall a day or two earlier, but I landed mostly on my face. Why is my foot swollen?

Hello,Thanks for your query. After going through your query I came to know that you got swelling of your left foot. You did have a bad fall a day or two earlier, but you landed mostly on my face .During fall it may be possible the foot also got injured , so get its x-ray done to exclude fracture and anti inflammatory drugs such as diclofenac may be of help to reduce swelling. You can discuss with your treating Doctor about it.I do hope that you have found something helpful and I will be glad to answer any further query. Take care.
