What Causes Swelling In Vagina After An Injury?
I fell last week while moving a friend and straddled the moving truck ramp. My vagina lips were swollen and bruised! No bleeding. Now a week later the bruising is gone and half of the swelling but my right vagina lip feels like a testical and is tender and hurts when pressed! The right side of the inside wall of my vagina is still swollen! I read it may be a blood clot and needs to be drained. Is there any way that the swelling will just go down in time and my body will just absorb the blood clot of that is in fact what s hard inside my right vagina lip?

Hi,
Noted the history of fall, swollen lips of vagina, after a weeks the bruise has settled, edema gone much but there is hard swelling on right lip of vagina, wants to know the progress.
Since there is regression of much problems except the hard swelling in right lip of vagina, this too should settle well.
I would advise you the following in such a situation:
You need to take a proper dose of anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen if it suits you.
If required an examination by your Gynecologist to asses whether this is just an edema or a clot assisted by High resolution Ultrasound should give the most probable cause of swelling so that an appropriate mode of treatment can be followed to solve your problem.I am sure that you understand to have no sexula active till cured.
If the contents are liquid even aspiration will do.
May not need incision and drainage.
