General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It is quite unusual to get a swelling after Hep B shot at a period of 1 month. But if it is the exact site where intramuscular injection was given, then it has to be considered as late abscess formation or others. It is highly recommended to take a high resolution ultrasound of the thigh region to clear the underlying cause and then manage accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
