What Causes Swelling In The Throat And Tightness In The Chest?
I have suffered from a sore throat that seem to extend to my lower jaw and ears. This has been going on for approx 4 weeks. Thyroid ultrasound normal. Been taking omepraxole for about 5years for herd when this suddenly started. Started me on nexium. No relief. Throat hurts and feels swollen. Upper chest feels tight. Pain and/or pressure in ears. What can be happening. Should I have my esophagus checked or could this be an early sign of cancer. I m at my wits end.

I really appreciate your concern, if the concern tests are unremarkable as long as the symptom of throat is concern then it may not be any disease condition and it is nothing to worry because it may be some nonspecific condition, at the most it can be given try with Tab Omeprazole 40 mg once in day try this hope this information helps.
