What Causes Swelling In The Tendon In The Armpit?

i think i have a swollen tendon in my armpit. It is raised above the skin when the arm is outstreched and is causing a swollen/numb feeling. it runs linear to the arm bone, then appears to curve over the bicep. Is this indeed a tendon or something else?

Hello
I have read your query.
There can be swelling over tendon or irritation of nerve.
I will advise you MRI spine and EMG NCV study will help in diagnosis.
Another investigation like ultrasound will help you.
medication like methylcobalamine and neurotropic medication like pregabalin will help.
Physiotherapy like ultrasound and Tens may give you relief.
I hope I have answered your questions. If you have further questions please feel free to contact us. I will be happy to answer. Take care.
