What Causes Swelling In The Neck?

My Nurse Practitioner noticed that my thyroid was enlarged. My blood work came back fine except I have a slight vitamin D deficiency. I have noticed that the left side of my neck is more swollen than before and I m having more difficulty swallowing than before. I am gagging for no reason. Should I be worried?

Hello
All thyroid swelling don't cause hypo or hyperthyroidism, so some thyroid swelling are function less or it can be a lymph node. I would suggest an USG of neck that help us to identify the cause of swelling.

Regards.
