What Causes Swelling In The Legs While On Atenolol?

I am on Pericardia and Levothyroxin along with other meds. I recently am having a lot of swelling in my feet and a lot of stinging in my legs, also some unsteadiness. I notice my pulse is 40. I have had a little CHF, ASTHMA, . MY cardiac cath was unremarkable . could these symptoms be coming from my procardia. I am taking that for chest pains caused by esophageal spams? or prince medals angina.? I was on atenolol but that was stopped several months ago and my pulse increased after stopping that, now it is back down again.
