General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to HCM...

According to history here ankle swelling and calf redness with burning present ......
Here your physical and neurological nerve examination needed along with taking muscle reflexes..

Your Homan sign should be elicited by dorsiflexion of foot that leads calf tenderness if venous thrombosis present ...

Local part x ray done to rule out arthritis ...

Serum urea , creatinine and liver profile can be done to rule out possible causes of ankle edema ...

If you have heart failure history and chemotherapy history than edema can be there

B12 deficiency and diabetics also should be ruled out ...

So according to cause further management will be decided ....

Advise : physician consultation
