What Causes Swelling In The Feet While Suffering From Lung Infection?

History of heart problems (bypass & valve replacement surgery) & lung infection Having symptoms of badly swollen feet & ankles, swelling some on the right leg - has pain on both sides in the back, also stomach is swollen similar to a small bowling ball - have been told to increase fluid pills for a week & urine sample tested fine & no improvement at all as of today

Hello,
I'm sorry to tell you, you could be having heart failure. If you are feeling breathless or any chest discomfort please visit your doctor immediately.
If you were already diagnosed with heart failure before and are developing these symptoms now, your medications will have to be reviewed.
