What Causes Swelling In The Feet While On Blood Pressure Medication?

I have very good health, (as far as I know). am eighty-three and a half years. Take two small pills each day, each 25 mlg. to maintain blood pressure. My question is -- my feet have started to swell in the past few days. Can you give me some insight on this subject. Thanks very much. M.E.

Hi. I have gone through your query.You have not mentioned the name of the medicine you are taking for the blood pressure.Some medicines like Amlodipine do cause swelling in the feet.
