What Causes Swelling In The Feet And Peeling Of Skin?

My daughter woke up with swollen feet. Her toes are bright red and the skin is peeling off. And a week ago she was in the hospital with a rash from head to toe but when they did blood work there was no virus and they took swabs of her throat there was nothing. What could be wrong with her?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi welcome to the health care magic

Your daughter was mainly having rash and swollen leg...

It could be from transient allergic inflammation...

For that antihistaminic drug like levocetrizine prescribed...

If rash still present than topical steroid or calamine lotion can be prescribed

Check blood eosinophil level and protein level

Rule out cardiac and kidney problem history...

Take care

Consult physician for examination

If specific cause present than treated accordingly
