What Causes Swelling In The Feet And Calves?

One month ago I had a X-ray my heart was normal size, then two weeks after that my feet started to swell, ankle and calves . Went to the doctor , the told me to drink plenty water , I did and swelling is gone . She took a X-ray of my chest ,my heart had grown a little . Before the last X-ray I noticed weight gain . Can you help me understand what is going on . I do take anxiety Meds calaphone n well but urban for stress and anxiety. She is sending me to a heart dr for a evaluation

It is good you are taking a cardiologist consultation. Cardiac problems can lead to swelling of the legs and feet. Since the X Ray finding of increase in the size of the heart--cardiac dilatation, definitely needs to be properly assessed by a Cardiologist.
