What Causes Swelling In The Ankle While On Cozaar And Felodipine?
i took novasc. benazepam 20 mg . cozaar, now am taking felodipine . All the mentioned medications are making me coughing a lot or swelling ankle that do not go away and I remain with pain. what is my option because my Dr told me that she is out of option for me at this time.
Felodipine can be associated with swelling of the ankles due to fluid retention.
It is possible that this can be the cause of the swelling that you are experiencing though other causes may need to be ruled out. Other causes are venous disease, heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease.
Cozaar is not normally associated with cough or swelling.
You may need a pain killer added to your medication to help you deal with pain eg naproxen or ibuprofen, if you can use these medications.
I hope this helps
