What Causes Swelling In Mons Pubis And Abdominal Pain?

30 year old female, 5'7'', 135 lbs. Swelling of mons pubis (bilateral) and persistent abdominal muscle pain over a week after engaging in really strenuous exercise program. The swelling subsides overnight but worsens during the day. By the evening it's really quite swollen. I'm sexually active, but not recently. Is there any reason to be worried about the swelling or is it just an after-effect of overdoing it at the gym?

hi
thanks for asking

as looking to the history it looks like inguinal hernia......

simple test at home which can be done is to place your palm of hand on the swelling and then coughing if it (the hand) moves then it is a hernia............i would like to advise you to confirm it by doing an ultrasound abdomen and pelvis

also consult a general surgeon
