What Causes Swelling In Lymph Nodes Of Neck And Abdomen Of Child?

Hi my daughter is 10 years old, initially diagnosed with mesenteric andenitis due to swollen lymphnodes in her stomach in October 2014, a follow up scan in December 2014 revealed she still have enlarged lymphnodes in her stomach. In January 2015, we noticed swollen lymphnodes in her neck. In February 2015, she started complaining about left leg pain. She has been tested for EBV, Strep, Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Celiac Disease, TB, and a number of other test all negative. ESR is high initially at 43, then 61, now 38. WBC is high, lymphocytes is high. She had a Colonoscopy and EGD all normal. On Maui we have limited access to doctors and medical care.

Hi,
There are a lot of causes which may cause lymphnode enlargements through out body. It is difficult to mention all those in an online consult without all the clinical data as it would unnecessarily lead to unwanted anxiety among parents. However, having said that it is imperative that the child gets a biopsy of the neck nodes for histopathological examination at the earliest if not already done.
