What Causes Swelling In Jaw Area And Pressure In Ear Along With Hearing Loss?

Hi.. I m experiencing a swollen tragus, swelling in the jaw, pressure in the ear, and little loss of hearing on my right side.. I Have not been in any physical altercations.. I did go to urgent care about 6 days ago and they prescribed some antibiotics.. Some days my ear clears up and I can hear and other days it goes back to feeling swollen and the hearing loss and pressure comes back.. Should I wait another couple days or should I go to a doctor immediately? Or is it something that I can take care of by myself?

Hi

Are you having any tinnitus? Did your doctor say what you have?

We suggest a consultation with an ENT specialist for this

As we cannot see intactness of your ear drum and how much wax is present in there, its hard to prescribe medicines here. Wax should have been cleaned when you visited ER, but then it all depends how your body performs, what business you are in, does it require over exposure to noise, or dust?

Lot of questions.
