Hello,
As you have mentioned about NLPHL and took chemotherapy for it. Chemotherapy just like other medicines has its potential side effects. Some side effects are immediate and you get them immediately after treatment. But its not necessary that you will always feel immediately any adverse effects. Sometimes there might be long term adverse effects of chemotherapy too. Long terms side effects may include cramps in legs and swelling in ankels.
These symotoms might have another reasons too as you have low salt intake and low sodium diet may also cause cramps. If this is the reason then do consult your dietician and have a diet chart for yourself so that you will come to know what to consume and in what amount.
As far as swelling in ankels is concerned it can be due to excessive fluid intake or may be due to long standing hours or you sit for long hours without any support under feet. To avoid this keep a pillow beneath feet while sleeping and dont stand for long hours and while sitting keep something under feet.
I also advice you to visit your healthcare team once,so that they can rule out whether it is long term side effects of chemotherapy or have some other reason. So do consult your physician once regarding this problem, so that you come to know the exact cause after clinical examination.
I hope you are satisfied with my answer and it will be helpful for you. Wishing you health and happiness in future.
Thank you.
