Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
One and a half weeks ago I had an angioplasty done to open an artery in my right leg. Leg feels great. Had a blood build- up near incision site in left groin, pressure was applied and an ultrasound showed that the problem was solved. I was cleared to exercise and walk which caused my left ankle to balloon up. Something to be concerned about? I am a 58-year old woman, not over-weight, who had a heart attack last year due to PAD and a stent was inserted. Thank you.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, if everything went alright as long as the angioplasty is concern then it is nothing to worry, care need to be taken for reducing the weight and for that cut down the calorie in diet and do some aerobic exercise hope this information helps.
