What Causes Swelling In Ankle And Soreness Near Belly Button?

My ex husband passed a kidney stone 6 months or so ago.He says his ankles are swollen and when he presses his belly button it feels swollen and not right and he feels full for long time .I think it could be Uris acid build up or something else.Can u give me in sight?

It may be due to gout in which uric acid increases.
It also causes kidney stones.
