I was recently ill, had fever, night sweats, cold sweats, vomiting, scratchy throat, muscle weakness, fatigue, so on and so forth. My primary care physician prescribed me an antibiotic which I finished in ten days and within the last two days of the antibiotic I started not being able to taste anything, then soon it turned into everything (even water) tastes foul. This started Tuesday when I came off the antibiotic. It is now Saturday and all of the glands in the right side of my body are swollen and firm, starting from the right side of my face, (under my tongue, 1 angry tonsil, and an ear ache in that ear), the gland in my neck, under my arm, etc all the way down the right side of my body. Should I go back for more antibiotics? or what? Or is this something that will go away in a few days without another visit to the doctor s office?
