What Causes Swelling And Redness In Eyes Along With Runny Nose?
Both of my children (ages 1 and 3) have goopy eyes and runny noses. The skin around their eyes is red and somewhat swollen, but their eyes are nice and white, not at all red. Does this sound like it s viral and part of a cold or something more serious that might require medical attention?

It could be an infection or allergic reaction, either of them. I doubt this is anything else more serious. But it is always best to report to a pediatrician for further management in such situations.
