What Causes Swelling And Pain In The Hand After A Rotator Cuff Surgery?

I had rotator cuff surgery nearly 3 months ago. The same hand attached to that shoulder is swollen and very sore. Knuckle and finger joints are stiff, sore and I m unable to close my hand. Will this go away? Could I have gout? Is this normal? Treatment?
