What Causes Swelling And Pain In The Eyelid After Using Combigan Eye Drops?
Post cataract surgery, I was prescribed combigan to control glaucoma but have severe allergic reaction to it such as redness and slight swelling of eyelids and periphery with some pain. Stopped taking it twice. Each time my eyes return to normal after 24 hours. My eye doctor says that due to previous trab. surgery my options are limited. Surely there must be another glaucoma med I could try?

From the description you have given, it looks like you are allergic to combigan eye drops. Fortunately there are many anti glaucoma medication available, each with a different mechanism of action and different drug.
You did not mention whether you have any other problem, like a heart condition, Asthma or blood pressure. If not then You can try Xalatan or Xalacom eye drops. Pls remember, both of these eye drops will cause mild redness initially, but the redness will gradually fade on continued use.
