What Causes Swelling And Pain In The Ears?

My ear is swollen shut, and the area around the ear is also sore and swollen. The pain only started with the ear, but it s gradually spread almost to my chin. It s only the right side of my face. Do you know what could be causing that, and I could I help it?

You may be suffering from acute pharygitis with eustachian tube block. Bilateral mums or lymphadenitis to infection or ludwigs angina etc. Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Please consult your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
