What Causes Swelling And Pain In The Arm After A Spider Bite?

Good evening, my boyfriend thinks he got bit by a spider on the inside of his wrist last night at 8pm. Today his wrist and fore arm is swollen and red. He just put some peroxide on it. We were wondering if he should go to the hospital? We do not see any signs of infections like (red line).

Hello,

He has insect bite induced inflammation in fore arm.

He can take levocetirizine like tablet for five days.

Additionally strong anti inflammatory steroid medication like oral prednisone or betamethasone in low dose can be prescribed.

He can apply calamine lotion over inflammed area.

Hope I have answered your question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
