Hi,I am Dr. Gopal Goel (Orthopaedic Surgeon). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I am a 28 year old female, 44 kilos. The past few days my calves have been swollen with no pain. Right calf more so. I have been sleeping with pillows under my legs and have tried a salt bath. It seems slightly better in the morning but swells during the day and is hard to touch. I ve not experienced this before. What could it be?
The symptoms seem seem to be related to a muscle strain. I suggest using a muscle relaxant such as Baclofen. I also suggest using magnesium supplement for muscle relaxation. I recommend to do warm bath and use warm compresses for muscle relaxation.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
