What Causes Swelling And Bruising On The Arm Post Fentanyl Shot?
Yes plzi hope so, i had an injection of fentanyl patch with white vinegar, in vein in lower arm, however i must have missed because it swelled instantly and colured bruising and some redness of infection. I put ice on it, today the bruising has doubled in size, but changed colour. Do i need to really worry

That sounds like a phlebitis post injection or an infection of injection site.However, immediate inflammation suggest surrounding tissue infiltration and less in favour of an infection.I will advise you take pain medication like ibuprofen and observe.You may also apply ice packs on it.If the swelling and pain do not reduce, you get the spot examined by the Doctor.
