I am 42 female and had TKR on my right knee in Feb 2012 and around 5pm yesterday I fell on concrete on my right knee hard and my right hand. My knee is swollen and badly bruised and my right hand is bruised and all finger tips to my elbow still tingle, numb and hurts.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that the symptoms may be due to soft tissue injury only. The abnormal sensations would be due to nerve injury to the the trauma but this should be temporary.

The use of anti inflammatory pain medication would help eg ibuprofen, naproxen or cataflam

I hope this helps
