What Causes Swelling Along With White Spots On The Tonsils?
My left tonsil is swollen with white spots on it and it s so large it makes my double chin appear larger or when I look up I have this large bump under my chin. I ve always had tonsil problems but this time it seems to be lingering around a lot longer. Could this be bad?

Hi,
From history it seems that there might be having acute follicular tonsillitis and giving rise to enlarged tender sub mandibular lymph nodes producing swelling and pain.
You might require one course of antibiotic like Azithromicin for 5 days.
If problem of having tonsillitis often then you might require tonsillectomy.
