What Causes Swelling Along With Red And Black Discoloration On The Nose?

I have my nose swell for the last 25 Days and shown red and black and my situation is very embarrassing in front of people when I talk. When I press outside pus and blood is coming out side and shown as swelling. Had taken so many antibiotics I.e amoxicillin etc but not shown any improvement. Please help.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
It appears that you have developed an abscess on the nose. That is why it discharges pus and blood. It is better to get it properly cleaned and dressed by a near by doctor. Plus a suitable antibiotic should be sued. Plain amoxycillin is unlikely to be of help, because it has very little action against Staph aureus, which often could be the cause of such infections. You have to use a combination like Amoxycillin + Clavulanic acid 625 mg, three times a day for 5 to 7 days. Then only the infection is likely to be brought under control. So please consult a close by doctor. Thanks.
