Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I became extremely tired and couldn t wake up to pick up my son from school. I tried to force myself awake and take a shower. I was very weak and nausea. I couldn t hardly stand up. I crawled back to bed and slept 1 1/2 hours. I felt fine when I woke up. What might this be.
This kind of symptoms of nausea or weakness is likely because of your tiredness or fatigue as a result of excess physical work.
Generally, this kind of symptoms are very common among people and they feel better after a good shower and adequate sleep and you said that you also feel better after that.
I personally never fins any abnormality of any underlying disease behind it.So,you need not to be worried about it.
However, you may go for your routine blood counts to check if there is any hemoglobin deficiency or not.
Consult your family doctor or some nearby GP for further advise.
Regards,
