What Causes Sudden Vomiting In A Child?

My son started throwing up last night I thought from too many cookies and mucous build up from cold then crying, but then this morning after breakfast he threw up on the way to school went most of the day fine but then threw up this evening after eating a bowl of chicken noodle soup and was asking for more. I later found out that he also ate a large portion of salt and vinegar chips this afternoon. I am concerns because the vomit this evening looks like it has tobacco or something like that in it....

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have sudden vomiting in a child. Well the symptoms you mention in query can occur due to certain reasons like gastroenteritis , food allergies , flu acid or reflux. I would suggest you to The most important thing is hydration. After vomiting, you want to wait 30 to 60 minutes before you put anything in the stomach . Antihistamines can help prevent vomiting and nausea due to motion sickness. Consult pediatrician for proper examination . Doctor may order stool test along with taking history . Doctor may prescribe antiemetic drug along with antibiotics and anti inflammatory .
