What Causes Sudden Sharp Burning Pain In Left Abdomen?
Hi I have sudden sharp burning pains in my left abdomen when I sit up from a lying down position.Its about 2 inches from my bellybutton and always in the same spot. I was awoken a few times in my sleep last night with pain coming and going in this spot, this was my first time getting the pain without sitting up, is it something to worry about.

I think you should get further evaluated doing an ultrasound to check for possible abdominal issues. I believe it can be related to irritation of intestinal but yet you should get evaluated.
