What Causes Sudden Pain In The Hips Following By Fainting?

I was taking a shower a couple of weeks go. I turned wrong or something and it felt like my hip popped out of place. I got really hot and almost passed out. I had to get out of the shower and lay on the cold floor til it passed. The pain was excruciating when I tried to walk. It was getting better and now the pain is bad again. What could it be?

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist 's  Response
Hello,

As this pain has begun while a turning movement at the hip joint, it could be a soft tissue injury at the joint. Having a physical examination by the orthopedist and an MRI might be requested to figure out the soft tissue injury. Post which after a multidisciplinary team discussion you may be put under a physiotherapist to undergo exercise sessions so the hip muscles become stronger and a good outcome score can be achieved.

Please do not ignore such injuries as the hip joint is the first and foremost important joint of the lower limbs.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Jay Indravadan Patel, Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist
