What Causes Sudden Increased Bowel Movement?

My father is constantly going to the bathroom, bowel movements, loose stools, defecating in his pants, non-stop, when he goes to the store, out to eat, comes to my house, goes to the chiropractor. As far as I know there is no blood and he has no pain, but will not call and discuss this with his doctor. He, also, drinks straight up vodka, like a pint a day. Could he have colon or bowel cancer?

Hi There

I've read your query and understanding your concern.

I would like to tell you there can be many reasons for bowel incontinence, like diarrhea, inflammatory bowel syndrome, nerve damage , prostate cancer and thinking impairment. Apart from these conditions , it can be alcoholic neuropathy in your father's case .

So you have to take him to the Gastroentrologist otherwise conditions can go worse. For the time being you can give him Tab Lomotil.

Hopefully I answered all your queries
Wish you Good Luck
