Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I have read the query in detail.According to the symptoms narrated the most likely cause of it is
acid reflux which is a cause for
increased heart rate due to irritation of
esophagus by acid reflux from stomach, difficulty in breathing suggests a reflux of acid in respiratory passages.
I suggest you to get an
endoscopy done after consultation with the nearest physician to rule out any ulcerations in stomach or duodenum, along with an ECG done to rule out any cardiac cause of breathlessness and increased heart rate.
I usually suggest my patients certain preventive measures to help in reduction in production of acid from the stomach:
1.Drink plenty of water
2.Avoid oily foodstuffs, caffeine containing products like tea, coffee and aerated drinks which increase the acid levels
3.Have light meals at shorter intervals than having heavy meals at long intervals.
4.Fix the timings of your meals especially have food early in the night at least 1-2 hours before you sleep.Do regular exercise.
5.Quit smoking, alcohol if you consume it.
6.You can take antacids like tab.
pantoprazole in the morning empty stomach to decrease the acid levels.
Hope this answers your query.
Feel free to ask any further queries.Take care.

Dr.Tushar Tamboli
