What Causes Sudden Immobility In The Legs?

my 76 year old husband s legs gave out on him tonight. We had a dinner party with drinks/alcohol and as we cleaned up kitchen, I noticed weakness in his legs/standing funny. Just now he fell (never seen this before) and had slurred speech. He says he just wants to go to bed and he ll be fine. I m worried...do I let him sleep it off?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

It would be best for him to be seen especially with a history of slurred speech along with the weakness and loss of balance.

He would need a CT scan brain and blood test to check electrolyte levels and a complete blood count.

I hope this helps
