What Causes Sudden High Fever, Sore Throat And Mild Right Ear Infection?
My 3 yr old son had a sudden high fever yesterday and was seen today by pediatrician and diagnosed with mild right ear infection, he does have tubes in both ears. He has been complaining of a sore throat but tested negative for strep via rapid culture. He has now develops lots of small purple spots all over his eyelids and I m wondering what could potentially cause that and if it s anything to be worried about.

This could be Herpes infection. She needs to be on Antiviral treatment when proved. Keep well hydrated. Consult a Dermatologist.
