General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello
I appreciate your concern for your friend
This could be due to syncope or seizure disorder

If I were his treating doctor I would have advised for a battery of tests like blood routineas hemoglobin, CBC , liver and kidney function test, blood sugar and serum electrolytes and CTscan oraAN MRI brain to find out reason behind this and establish a diagnosis

In my opinion you should take him to neurologist immediately for clinical neurological examination, aforementioned investigations and further course of action

Hope this answers your question
Best wishes
