What Causes Sudden Episodes Of Spitting Up Of Blood?

Thank you, my adult DTR has been spitting up blood with no pains. She went to urgent care and told me, the doctor want to call for an ambulance to take her to the hospital. She picked up her DTR from school and went home so husband could take her. I didn t want to upset her but I am upset. I live 70 miles away from her and wondering if I should rush to the hospital? She didn t give me enough info and I am worried. What would cause her lungs to bleed?

I read your question and understood your concern
The cause of bleeding might be from stomach or esofageus varicose vein or lungs.
I think this is a Emergency so you should rush directly to hospital.
