What Causes Sudden Dull Pain At The Middle Of Back?

I have a suddenly appearing dull ache in the middle of my back. Like a may have lifted something heavy. All I have lifted is a 22 pd. baby all last weekend, but that was 5 days ago!? I would describe it as a moderate dull ache. Usually from lifting I would get lower back ache

I understand your concern.
As per history given by you i suspect it to be just some muscular spasm due to sudden heavy weight lifting.And muscle spasm pain needs time and rest to decrease.
I would advice you to take adequate rest,take plain analgesics like crocin and in case pain does not subside follow up with local general physician for opinion.
