What Causes Sudden Dizziness Followed By Vomiting?
What could cause sudden light-headed, dizzy (but room not spinning). Would ve passed out if I dared get up and walk. As soon as I moved I began vomiting. Ambulance called and anti-nausea medication administered via IV. A couple hours later I m totally fine. 3 EKGs and chest x-ray normal. Similar event happened several years ago. Suddenly felt sick and passed out as I reached the ladies room. Urinated when I passed out so had neurological consult at hospital. Did not vomit that time. ER doctor said heart can possible cause that but I did not feel any irregular heartbeat. They asked over and over if I had chest pain, but I did not.

Sudden dizziness with vomiting can be part of imbalance at vestibulocochlear system of the ear connecting the central nervous system supply.
If the neurology evaluation has not carried out MRI, it is the next step to proceed here.
